An option has been added to allow the use of metric route distances and depths (i.e. Km and metres) from VisualWorks data when the Coordinate System Eastings/Northings are based on a Sears Foot (Borneo BRSO) coordinate system. This allows the E/N in the plan view to show coordinates in Feet whilst the Profile/Cross Profile/ Events Panels show a Km KP axis (and depths in metres).

The option is enable by setting the AutoChart BRSO variable at the AutoCAD command line:

(setenv "BRSO" "T")

The variable MUST only be set for Charting projects requiring this option. You must switch the option off if you are going to another project and do normal charting again. To turn off the option, type:

(setenv "BRSO" "")
